Head of Sales – Global Fintech

Our client is a global leader in providing specialist software solutions to buyside institutions and addressing their core business needs. They are currently seeking a seasoned Business Development professional to further grow their services in the APAC region.

The ideal candidate is a dealmaker with strong network of buyside clients across the region and experience selling software solutions/market data into the institutional sector.

Key responsibilities

  • Own and lead the business development responsibilities for the region targeting buy-side clients across APAC region.
  • Act as the regional leader liaising with CXOs from targeted clients.
  • Lead strategic revenue generation opportunities across to position the firm’s service offerings.
  • Manage the entire sales process including prospecting, building sales pipelines, cross-selling, negotiation and closing.
  • Cultivate strong relations with clients, understand their needs and successfully deliver solutions.
  • Stay abreast of current industry trends, competitors, and current/new company products and services.

Role requirements

  • At least 8 years of sales experience ideally in Software Solutions, Fintech, SaaS within Financial Services.
  • Strong network of buyside clients is required.
  • A true “hunter” mentality who strives for the close.
  • Proven track record of exceeding or achieving high individual targets.
  • Strong commercial and business acumen.
  • Excellent communication, relationship building and networking skills.
  • Strong influencing, negotiation, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
