VP – Data Integration (Finance/SQL) – 12 Month Contract

Our client is a leading International multi service bank, with a strong presence in APAC.

They are looking for VP with Data Integration experience to join their Finance Data Integration and Change Delivery team, overseeing the integration of projects involving multiple finance systems and processes while actively analyzing and evaluating financial and non-financial data and reporting requirements from all stakeholders based on the relevant business usage. (This is a 12-month contract position).

Key responsibilities

Conduct data research, analysis, documenting requirements and user questions, challenges and propose innovative, automated solutions where necessary.
Oversee data testing at various level From Acquisition, modelling layers and outbound extracts.
Accountable for ensuring the most suitable solutions on design with regards to gathering and integrating various SAP components and legacy infrastructure including GL.
Able to comprehend, document, socialize the compliance and regulatory requirements in relation to data solution (including IFRS and BCBS).
Collaborating and building strong relationship with multiple technology partners to ensure the most suitable solutions on data testing to fortify effective synergies.
Regular meetings with project team to update on design and execution dependencies as POC for data change related queries.

Role requirements

Minimum 5 years of experience in Finance/ Product Control/ Change Management roles.
Strong Data Mining and Analysis skill with relevance to Finance processes and systems.
Experience in drawing business relevant conclusions and data visualization techniques and tools through data analysis.
Strong experience with data querying languages and tools (E.g., SQL/ PLSQL / Hibernate SQL).
