CFO – Personal/Consumer Banking – Global Bank

Key responsibilities

• Partnering closely with the leadership team to drive the profitability of segments and ensure appropriate product returns across all markets. This includes reviewing and evaluating new strategic opportunities, channels and partnerships, with a view to increase their participation in the retail mass market segment and deepen the business banking segment.
• Guide the Global Heads of the relevant Segments on the business financial performance, highlighting areas of opportunity and any challenges that may be faced.
• Collaborate closely with the Cost Management team to develop and implement new client measurement analytics, including cost to acquire, cost to serve, and client lifetime value to improve the profitability and accelerate the growth of the segment.
• Conduct product deep dives with the global product leaders to formulate business strategies, identify opportunities to improve income and returns and ensure efficient deployment of resources and capital across all segments and countries.
• Identify and drive cost and headcount management actions in response to digital initiatives.
• Work in conjunction with the Performance Management Head to run the Corporate Planning Process in order to set targets across regions and countries and identify actions to optimize returns and EVA.
