Head of Finance, Technology – Global Bank

Our client is a leading International bank, with a strong presence in Singapore and across the region.

They are looking for a candidate to join their Technology & Operations finance team, with responsibility for providing end to end finance leadership and oversight of the Enterprise Technology segment, which manages the Bank’s technology infrastructure capabilities and services, including Data Centers, Cloud, Networks, End User Services, and IT Service Management. The successful candidate will be a trusted partner to the Technology & Operations CFO and management team.

Key responsibilities

Responsible for the full end to end P&L and balance sheet of the segment, driving performance management activities and ensuring that the unit reaches its financial targets.
Lead the annual corporate plan and target setting process, liaising with the other Technology domains, as well as business, functional, region and country leads to ensure a robust business plan.
Drive a robust and accurate flash and forecasting process for the cost base, drive performance management and cost discipline, ensuring full alignment across Technology on financial outlook and forecast.
Ensure investments are properly managed and accounted for in line with the broader transformation agenda,
Ensure adequate financial controls and balance sheet management – with a focus on the cross-border recharges, accruals, prepayments, hardware and license spend.

Role requirements

15+ years finance experience, with specialization in Tech finance and in-depth understanding of Tech Infrastructure.
Significant experience in cost management and financial control, in Banking or Technology organizations.
Advanced knowledge of technology recharge models and accounting treatment of Tech costs.
