Key responsibilities

  • Strong Unix/Linux skills – well versed in tasks like file editing, system resource monitoring, running, and scheduling processes.
  • Basic Scripting – shell scripting or Python scripting.
  • Service request and ticketing tracking tools experience i.e., Jira.

Role requirements

  • Write documentation including procedures, implementation instructions, incident recaps.
  • Support of Instinet’s bespoke systems including its OMS, market data and exchange connectivity.
  • Internally supporting on teams like Instinet traders and other trade support teams.
