Key responsibilities

Monitor and analyze balance sheet for potential interest rate risk in banking book.
Develop and maintain IRR framework for bank.
Measure and report on the impact of interest rate changes on the bank’s net interest income, equity, and other key financial metrics.
Work closely with treasury, risk, and finance teams to develop and implement interest rate risk mitigation strategies.
Provide timely and accurate information to senior management and regulatory bodies.

Role requirements

Post graduate degree in finance, economics, or a related field.
Strong understanding of financial instruments and their use in managing interest rate risk.
Knowledge of financial modelling and analytical tools.
Experience with interest rate risk management and/or asset-liability management in a financial institution.
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Familiarity with relevant regulatory requirements and guidelines.
