Key responsibilities

  • Identify and analyze requirements for each sprint/release and their prioritization.
  • Creating a test and sign off plan and acting as bridge between IT and Business and ensuring IT deliverables reflect the business needs.
  • Responsible for defining & maintaining efficient communication procedure with senior management and Technology teams and Business Stakeholders.
  • Drive changes for Finance specifically related to Liquidity risk and BASEL regulations.
  • Creating BRDs, supporting the development, testing, and review.
  • Conceptualizing and managing solutions wrt to business need.
  • Collaborate with developers to ensure all potential issues and bugs identified during the testing are fixed as per project plan.

Role requirements

  • Degree qualification in either Accounting / Finance or Information Technology.
  • Minimum 4-6 years of post-qualification experience.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
  • Basic ETL/data warehouse concepts.
  • Previous experience in the Financial Services industry is essential; Prior experience in end-to-end implementation of regulatory reports of any of the regulator’s APRA/BoE/RBI etc.
  • Financial instruments / product knowledge is preferable.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and Communication skills.
  • Very strong MS Office skills; particularly Excel.
  • Some exposure to process improvement and project management methodologies is preferred.
  • Experience with Financial Accounting and Risk Management concepts.
  • Ability to investigate business issues and identify technical root causes.
  • Understanding of SDLC Processes and Agile methodology.
  • Immediate Joiner/ 30 days or less Notice Period.
