Key responsibilities

  • The Group Account Director is the leader of the operational and delivery aspects of the account and owns relationships with the client(s). He or she is responsible for winning Client commitment to the Agency’s brand direction, strategy, recommendations, and subsequent execution. The Group Account Director is expected to foster the Agency’s beliefs and spirit externally and internally, as well as develop and drive vision for the business, aiming to bring in more digital business.
  • Leads the marketing and communication team (Creative, Digital, Brand Planning and Brand Management team) to champion and drive new customer centric approach and business growth.
  • Builds positive and collaborative relationships with all stakeholders including Head of Brand and other heads.
  • Guide to deliver creative excellence across the entire customer journey.
  • Active involvement in Strategy Reviews / Financial Updates / Brand Campaigns – providing on-going support to assigned team.
  • Drives integration and interdependence across all capabilities to deliver high-standard integrated communication solutions.
  • Inspires, mentors, and nurtures the team to build capability and develop competence.
  • Manages communication budget.
  • Takes overall responsibility for the development and management of the communications streams of work.
  • Receives project briefs from client, assesses, calls for the internal meetings and meeting with partner agencies, and assigns the brief internally, agrees on timelines internally and with client.
  • Optimize budget and speed to market in order to maximize ROI.
  • Identify and improve organizational and development aspects that would improve content creation and its distribution.

Role requirements

  • 8 – 10+ years’ proven experience in client services with a track record in brand, digital, social, and data-driven marketing projects.
  • Experience working in Global/Local operating models with ability to manage diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Experience of running large matrix teams and simultaneous projects.
  • Ability to work under pressure, to priorities, to multitask and to manage the process from start to finish.
  • Swan-like ability to absorb challenges and move forwards without stress.
  • Honed leadership skills.
  • Exemplary client liaison skills.
  • A strong communicator, negotiator, and influencer whose opinion will be heard and who is forceful enough to drive the change to put data at the core of what we do.
  • A rapid learner with the ability to simplify complexity.
  • A hands-on team player, used to motivating, coaching, and managing teams from within, happy to get their hands dirty.
  • Independent and truly channel agnostic thinker, who knows our business very well across the different departments.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with subject matter experts to optimize the creative process.
  • Passion for the latest marketing trends, innovations, and technology.
  • Solid writing and speaking skills in English.
