Senior Social Manager

Our client, a well know International Media Agency is looking to bring onboard a Senior Social Media Manager, the ideal candidate will be responsible for the social team operations which involves creating, managing, analyzing, and optimizing paid campaigns across all social platforms. This individual will also work with the Planning teams and Agencies to ensure strategic optimization initiatives are met.

Key responsibilities

  • Supervise Social performance team operations across all social media platforms namely Meta, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Twitter, and other social media platforms.
  • Ensure campaigns are set-up, properly QC and managed expectations to drive maximum efficiency and optimum performance, including campaign set-up, real-time optimizations, budget/spend management.
  • Setup & refine processes, workflow, develop best practices for every channel and campaign type.
  • Hire the right talent, develop training modules for paid social media channels.
  • Act as the key point of contact for campaign-related issues, and partner with internal and external teams to drive resolution in a timely manner.
  • Support / education of Ecommerce services and Social Media updates to key agency counterparts.
  • On-going analysis of client investments to identify potential efficiencies through opportunities.
  • Monitor, on an on-going basis, billings, and campaigns performance relative to estimates and client defined KPIs.
  • Support team to ensure workload and project distribution is evenly balanced, proactively stepping in to fill support gaps.
  • Manage and Lead Monthly Platform Check In/Assessment Meetings (Internal and Platform Teams Only).
  • Manage Campaigns on a day-to-day basis with dedicated focus and turnaround time.
  • Provide consistent communication where necessary to keep client/agency teams, meeting recaps, budget allocation shifts, key insights, etc.
  • Proactively develop industry POVs as needed to ensure both internal teams and clients are consistently made aware of shifts in platform best practices, new product launches, alpha/beta opportunities, general thought leadership, etc.

Role requirements

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in Ad Operations, with experience in Meta, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Twitter, and other social media platforms.
  • Degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Must have a deep level of current understanding of the nuances present across all key social platforms, including paid media best practices, algorithmic shifts/impact, ad opportunities, Industry POVs/Theories.
  • Well versed in development and methodology required when developing brand objectives, KPIs, industry/vertical benchmarking, platform ad opportunities, ad tech and data partnerships, etc.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills, detail oriented and project management capabilities.
  • Facebook Blueprint certified.
  • Agency background is highly preferred.
  • Detail oriented with the ability to precisely manipulate large, multi-faceted data sets. Pivot tables and V-lookups are and added advantage.
  • Time management and organizational skills and ability to operate in a deadline-oriented environment.
