Key responsibilities

Ensure adherence to control frameworks and governance systems.
Conduct detailed audits and reviews, identifying internal control deficiencies and providing recommendations for improvement.
Stay up to date with regulatory and statutory changes, as well as accounting standards.
Review compliance within the financial control framework and regulatory requirements.
Engage with stakeholders across including business units, risk divisions, compliance, legal, and support teams.

Role requirements

Tertiary Qualification: Hold a CA or MBA qualification.
Experience: Demonstrate 6-15 years of post-qualification experience in audit or operational risk, preferably within an accounting or financial services environment.
Problem Solving and Analytical Skills: Exhibit an interest in problem solving, analyzing complex processes, and developing assurance reports.
