Key responsibilities

Evaluate likelihood of counterparty defaults and assign internal ratings.
Conduct initial climate risk due diligence for prospective trading clients and develop indicators and monitoring tools to measure ESG performance and risk profile.
Assess business, management, and financial profiles of existing clients and support preparation of analysis for committees and participate in stress testing exercises.
Provide support for global initiatives to enhance the Climate Risk and ESG Framework and work on implementation of Climate Risk and ESG Framework in all existing processes including credit ratings, portfolio management, reporting, etc.

Role requirements

Professional degree (CA, MBA, or CFA) from reputed institutes
Minimum 2 years of experience in credit risk domain is mandatory.
Experience in Climate Risk/ESG projects, and knowledge of global Climate Risk/ESG regulations and disclosures is preferred.
Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
Ability to work in a global set-up and handle multiple tasks independently.
Strong analytical skills and flexible thinking across disciplines.
