Key responsibilities

  • To ensure that the daily P & L is accurately reported in accordance with applicable policies post performing relevant controls.
  • To ensure that the relevant P&L and Balance sheet positions are correctly reported at month end and issues/breaks identified are resolved before ledger close.
  • Ensuring that various critical reports owned by the team are accurately produced by post performing relevant controls.
  • Providing commentary on P&L swings and variance investigation to desk/senior finance managers as required
  • Ensuring that ad hoc queries from business managers and finance management are responded to in a timely manner, post required analytical review.
  • Coordinate with different verticals to drive and gauge control prerequisites.
  • Analyze and refine existing controls.

Role requirements

  • Qualified accountant or MBA in Finance, with Minimum 13-14 years post qualification experience.
  • Strong understanding of financial products & markets along with global exposure
  • Understanding of credit valuation adjustment, debt valuation adjustment, funding valuation adjustment.
  • Should have significant experience in Product control domain and regulatory requirements.
  • Having good articulation skills.
  • Go-getter displaying initiative, diligence & efficiency.
