Senior Investment Counsellor, Private Bank

Our client is a well-established international private bank and now seeking for suitable talent for their front office.

This is an Investment Counsellor role for the private banking arm of business and the incumbent will be expected to support SEA market, hence additional language proficiency will be an added advantage.

Key responsibilities

  • Build and maintain relationships with relationship managers to support Southeast Asia clients, providing them with personalized investment advice and recommendations.
  • Develop and implement investment strategies that are tailored to each client’s individual needs and risk profile.
  • Responsible for assessing investment suitability and analyse to identify potential investment opportunities and evaluate investment risks.
  • Monitor clients’ portfolios and provide regular performance updates and recommendations for adjustments.
  • Collaborate with other team members, including wealth planners and product specialists, to deliver a comprehensive wealth management service to clients.
  • Portfolio covers across asset classes, markets and jurisdictions; required to combine in depth knowledge of traditional and alternative investments.

Role requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or a related field.
  • At least 8-10 years of experience in investment advisory or wealth management
  • Strong knowledge of financial markets and investment products, including equities, fixed income, and alternative investments.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients.
  • Relevant licenses or certifications, such as CFA, CFP are a plus.
