Key responsibilities

• Overseeing the performance of the global audit plan within assigned areas of responsibility, as well as for any spontaneous engagements.
• Strategize and guide global or regional audit assignments, oversee audit projects, identify risk-based audit areas, examine business transactions, workflows, processes, and control systems.
• Ensure proper follow-up and implementation of audit recommendations by the auditee, allowing for timely closure of findings.
• Assist in updating audit methods, instigate enhancements to workflows, processes, security, and control systems, and facilitate the sharing of best practices.
• Handle communication with stakeholders across all levels of the hierarchy. Engage with external auditors as necessary in specific instances.
