Key responsibilities

Overseeing the performance of the global audit plan within assigned areas of responsibility, as well as for any spontaneous engagements.
Strategize and guide global or regional audit assignments, oversee audit projects, identify risk-based audit areas, examine business transactions, workflows, processes, and control systems.
Ensure proper follow-up and implementation of audit recommendations by the auditee, allowing for timely closure of findings.
Assist in updating audit methods, instigate enhancements to workflows, processes, security, and control systems, and facilitate the sharing of best practices.
Handle communication with stakeholders across all levels of the hierarchy. Engage with external auditors as necessary in specific instances.

Role requirements

6+ years of professional experience in internal/external audit, consultancy, or a similar field. Candidates with fewer years of experience will be considered for the Auditor role.
Preferred experience in finance-related functions, asset management, and corporate governance topics.
Possession of an audit certification (CIA, CFA, CISA) would be advantageous.
Demonstrated management skills in audit planning.
Excellent communication skills are crucial, including the ability to empathize with the auditee’s perspective and active listening skills.
Proficiency in handling various personalities and prior experience in managing escalation processes following the delivery of challenging decisions.
