Key responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee the delivery of accurate and timely standard capital regulatory reports, utilizing your extensive knowledge of regulatory requirements and reporting best practices.
  • Conduct comprehensive assurance activities, including Operational Assurance, Data Quality Assurance, and RWA (Risk-Weighted Assets) Assurance, to validate the integrity and precision of capital reports.
  • Collaborate closely with teams across various geographies to ensure consistent adherence to BCBS239 compliance, Basel standards, and other regulatory frameworks applicable to capital reporting.
  • Monitor and evaluate the quality of capital reports, identifying areas of improvement and implementing enhancements to optimize report accuracy and compliance.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of evolving regulatory landscapes, keeping the organization informed of changes and ensuring that our reporting practices remain current and aligned.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on capital regulatory reporting matters, providing insights and guidance to internal teams and external clients as necessary.
  • Collaborate with technology teams to enhance reporting systems and data infrastructure, promoting efficient and accurate capital regulatory reporting processes.

Role requirements

  • Minimum of 12 years of proven experience in Capital Regulatory Reporting within the investment banking sector.
  • In-depth knowledge of BCBS239 compliance, Basel guidelines, and other relevant regulatory frameworks governing capital reporting.
  • Proficiency in Risk-Weighted Assets (RWA) calculations and their significance in capital reporting.
  • Strong track record of delivering standard reports and conducting assurance activities to ensure report quality.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate across geographies and functions, fostering teamwork to achieve common goals.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a talent for addressing data quality issues effectively.
