Senior Executive Accountant

Our client is a leading media company based in Vietnam, dedicated to delivering high-quality content and innovative media solutions to a diverse audience. With a strong commitment to creativity and excellence, they are seeking a skilled Senior Accountant to join their finance team.

We are looking for an experienced Senior Executive Accountant with 3-4 years of professional accounting experience to play a crucial role in our client’s financial management. The successful candidate will be responsible for various accounting tasks, financial analysis, and reporting, ensuring the company’s financial records are accurate, compliant, and support informed decision-making.

Key responsibilities

Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
Budgeting and Forecasting: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis reports.
General Ledger Management: Maintain and reconcile the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
Accounts Payable and Receivable: Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, including vendor payments and customer invoicing.
Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with local tax regulations, prepare tax returns, and liaise with external tax consultants as necessary.
Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for cost optimization.
Month-End Close: Assist in the month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
Audit Support: Coordinate and support external audits by providing accurate financial data and documentation.

Role requirements

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
3-4 years of professional accounting experience, preferably in the media or entertainment industry.
Strong knowledge of Vietnamese accounting standards and regulations.
Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
Effective communication and teamwork skills.
CPA or ACCA certification is a plus.
