HR Generalist

Our client is looking for a Human Resource Generalist, you will play a vital role in supporting the business goals by partnering with various teams within the organization. This role primarily supports HRBP’s and Actuaries and Advanced Analytics Division, encompassing HR analysis and generalist support, including talent acquisition, employee relations, performance and talent management, compensation, and retention.

Key responsibilities

  • Establish strong and effective client relationships with business managers and staff within assigned units.
  • Collect and compile HR metrics and data from various sources, including HRIS, payroll outputs, talent management systems, exit interviews, employment records, and more.
  • Analyze data and statistics to identify trends and patterns, focusing on recruitment, hiring practices, engagement, turnover, and other HR-related aspects.
  • Prepare reports presenting data results and explaining findings.
  • Provide consultation and support to managers on activities such as performance management, employee relations, and the termination process when needed.
  • Guide and assist in performance, benefit, and compensation review and evaluation processes.
  • Actively participate in the implementation of HR programs, policies, and procedures.
  • Ensure efficient and accurate performance of administrative activities to meet service expectations.

Role requirements

  • 2 – 3 years of experience in a human resources role.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in conducting analysis and presenting findings and recommendations.
  • Knowledge of various HR functional areas, including recruiting, benefits, employment, employee development, and compensation.
  • Understanding of HR policies, procedures, and information systems is a plus.
  • Ability to work autonomously in a results-oriented environment.
  • Strong ability to maintain confidentiality and handle difficult situations independently with good judgment.
  • Professional presence and effective communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP’s, pivot tables) and PowerPoint.
