C# / .NET Developer

Our client is a multinational company that provides global financial services firm that operates in several key areas within the financial industry. The company is headquartered in New York. They are looking for a C# / .NET developer to join their Mumbai regional team.

Key responsibilities

  • Design and Develop common business services / components that are the core foundation blocks across all systems.
  • Design and develop REST based Banking & Payment Services APIs.
  • Employ CI/CD well as DevOps principles to achieve SDLC goals of Global Banking Technology.
  • Work as an Agile squad member and interact with other squad members as well as external stakeholders including business and technology partners (local as well as global) across Wealth Management, infrastructure team, architecture team to deliver the objectives.
  • Take complete ownership of the banking components from analysis to development to unit testing as well as production support.
  • Build SQL Server stored procedures to optimally access data available in multiple data stores.

Role requirements

  • Mandatory Skills – .NET, .NET Core, WCF, WebAPI, REST, SOAP, MS-SQL.
  • Good to have – Kafka/MQ, Angular, React.
  • 3 – 5 years of hands-on experience in .NET and related technologies.
  • 3 – 5 years of hands-on experience with C#, WCF Services, Windows Services, Web API, Entity Framework.
  • 3 – 5 years of hands-on experience with Web Services (XML, JSON, REST, SOAP).
  • 3 – 5 years of hands-on experience with Relational databases (SQL server/DB2).
  • 1+ years of hands-on experience with.NET Core.
  • Practical experience with Messaging technologies (Kafka/MQ).
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and planning skills.
  • Working experience of Agile development methodologies and of DevOps integration.
  • Exposure to JIRA or other ALM tools to create a productive, high-quality development.
