Finance & Accounting Analyst (Global Payments – Customer Funds)

Our client is a renowned global MNC in the E commerce space.  They are now looking to hire a Finance and Accounting Analyst. This role will focus on Monthly reporting, explaining for Variances and Systems and Processes improvement and implementation.

Key responsibilities

  • Responsible for financial analysis related to customer funds.
  • Overseeing monthly financial closures and managing financial statements for month end closing
  • Address various pending financial and business discrepancies to ensure the accuracy, timeliness, comprehensiveness, and validity of financial data.
  • Collaboration with product and technology teams to improve and implement Accounting systems solutions effectively.
  • Expediting financial solutions for diverse business needs to enhance financial standardization and the efficiency of new financial systems.

Role requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting/ ACCA, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related fields
  • A minimum of five to seven years experience in finance with some experience in customer fund accounting in a Fin tech/ E commerce with exposure to Global Payments platform
  • Prior experience from a Big4 advisory firm with business process enhancement experience is preferred
  • Experience in process enhancement and system integration is a plus.
  • Outstanding communication skills and a strong team-oriented mindset.
  • Proficiency in Mandarin is required to liaise with Mandarin speaking counterparts
