Plant Head (Only Female Candidates)

We are looking for a skilled Plant Head with 20-25 years of experience. To lead entire plant operations and enable consistent supply of PFI and Drug products to the customers, while complying with statutory & regulatory requirements. Key responsibilities and qualifications for this position include:

Responsible for P&L at the plant level. Ensure all financials like expenditures and investments at the plant level are regularly monitored.

Key responsibilities

  • Prepare & monitor Plant Operations Budget for the year. Ensure adequate resources (in terms of material, equipment, machinery, and people) are provided for efficient plant operations.
  • Develop KPIs for the plant and the department heads in the areas of Safety, Quality, Delivery Cost and Productivity. Review periodically to ensure achievement of desired performance.
  • Prepare long & short-term plans to increase the productivity & capacity of the plant in line with present & future business requirement.
  • Responsible for operational excellence -Identify areas of improvement; and facilitate process / equipment modification to enhance operational efficiencies by deploying continuous improvement techniques.
  • As a plant head lead regulatory / customer audits, address queries aptly during the audit and ensure timely closure of all the observations with appropriate CA&PA.
  • Ensure compliance to various manufacturing processes (SOPs, BPR, logbooks) & Systems (Production plan/ schedule) right from granulation to compression, coating and packing processes. Also, ensure Quality Management Systems including deviation, investigation, change control in relation to product specifications and process parameters (including environmental parameter requirements) are followed.
  • Ensure required Safety systems are implemented to make the workplace safe and hazard-free. Organize periodic audits to ascertain safety systems are complied.
  • Ensure timely validation and launch of new products in the manufacturing area. Implement appropriate automation and mechanization solutions in Manufacturing. Ascertain new equipment’s are appropriately qualified as per CFR part 11 requirements.
  • Guide direct reports. Conduct periodic review of their work-performance and facilitate development. Ensure plant personnel are appropriately trained and qualified to perform their job responsibilities.
  • Plan, direct & coordinate manufacturing and packing of products (PFI, Tablets, Capsules) in compliance with regulatory and statutory requirements. Coordinate with cross functional teams for planning supplies of goods to the customer on time (OTIF).

Role requirements

  • Pharm / M. Pharm / Chemical Engineer
