Key responsibilities

  • Program Strategy: Collaborate with stakeholders to define program goals, scope, and success criteria aligned with organizational objectives. Develop comprehensive plans and timelines.
  • Project Leadership: Lead diverse teams to achieve program objectives, ensuring adherence to project management best practices while monitoring progress and addressing challenges.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Establish clear communication channels with executives, clients, and team members, providing regular updates and facilitating effective meetings.
  • Resource & Risk Management: Allocate and manage program resources, identify risks, and proactively address issues. Maintain quality standards through testing and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate project documentation and generate performance reports for stakeholders and leadership.
  • Change & Vendor Management: Manage changes in scope, schedule, and objectives. Collaborate with external vendors/partners, ensuring their alignment with program goals.
  • Technical Expertise: Maintain deep technical understanding, offering guidance and support to project teams.

Role requirements

  • 10+ years in Engineering Management or a similar role.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, preferably Computer/Electrical Engineering or related fields (preferably CSE).
  • Strong technical comprehension with the ability to translate complex concepts into simpler terms.
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proven experience leading cross-functional teams, handling multiple projects concurrently.
  • Expertise in risk management, problem-solving, and conflict resolution.
  • Knowledge of Java, Python, SDLC, and software development concepts.
  • Profound expertise in Agile Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies.
