FP&A Associate – 6 months contract role

Our client is an International Bank who have a large footprint within Singapore and the wider ASEAN region, who are looking for a high-performing FP&A Associate to join the Finance team for 6 months.

Key responsibilities

  • Prepare and analyze financial and management data encompassing revenue, expenses, drivers and other financial data for business reviews
  • Analyze trend analysis and solicit commentaries from the business
  • Review and analyze allocations, channels, clients and products to identify opportunities and risks
  • Incorporate strategic analysis and insights into management reporting
  • Involve in annual budget and monthly outlook preparation and review
  • Participate in financial and driver based forecast model development and governance.
  • Business engagement in financial related matters from product revenue discussion to assist in identifying expense reduction
  • Proactively engaging and interfacing across Businesses, Finance, and other relevant functional departments to leverage information and streamline processes to drive performance
  • Assist in governance, risk & controls relating to FP&A
  • Involved in project work and new system implementation.
  • SME on datahub implementation/IT innovation
  • MAS and HKMA regulatory surveys
  • Procedures and documentation
  • Regulatory aspects and IT automation
  • Assist in any ad hoc duties as and when assigned

Role requirements

  • Qualified CPA / ACCA / Accountant or finance degree equivalent
  • At least 3 years of relevant banking or financial industry experience
  • Excellent communications skills (written/verbal) at all organizational levels
  • Results/task orientated with excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to manage and prioritize effectively and resolve conflicting priorities
  • Ability to work well as part of a team and autonomously
  • Excellent MS Office skills including Excel and PowerPoint
