Head Global Delivery System

We are looking for a skilled Head – Global Delivery Management System with 15+ years of experience. This role will be responsible for overseeing the efficient and effective delivery of products from our warehouses to customers, ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment and exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of pharmaceutical sales processes, logistics, and delivery management systems.

Key responsibilities

  • SNOP and Purchase Orders (PO): Take on from the SNOP meeting on sales and marketing numbers and oversee the entire purchase order (PO) fulfillment process, including order receipt, categorization, prioritization based on profitability, strategic customers, and geographies. Ensure all commitments of POS are met with, identify the gaps in a timely manner and follow up with Sales and Marketing teams.
  • Tracking Production Details: Develop and implement a robust system to track the production details in terms of Plan vs Actual for API, PFI and Formulations. Do a detailed gap analysis of Plan vs Actual. Timely escalation to decision makers in case of any issues. Furnish time bound reports to US/EU/ROW on Plan vs Actual and the gaps thereof. Highlight whether these gaps can be filled soon or whether it leads to a loss of sales of the products.
  • Participation in meetings for Delivery Schedules: Ensure that committed performance targets should be met with, timely escalation, actions, follow -up action for delivery.
  • Delivery of Services: Resolve customer complaints, customer requirements, overall custodian of customer visits and audits of manufacturing facilities, interfacing with the respective plants for audit preparation in depth, follow up on customer queries, requirements, and audits till closure of any observations.
  • Annual Sales Plan: Preparation of annual sales plan along with the Sales and Marketing teams, integrating the plan and ensuring that the capacities and the requirement have no clash.
  • IT and Digital: Ensure better service to customers thru use of IT and Digital for:

  2. Presentation
  3. Analysis

Role requirements

  • MBA or master’s degree with specialization in supply chain management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a leadership role within a pharmaceutical company, with a focus on delivery management or logistics.
  • Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical sales processes, distribution models, and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience in implementing and managing delivery management systems and software.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to leverage data to drive operational efficiencies.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management abilities with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
  • Proficient in using relevant software and tools, such as ERP systems and delivery management software.
  • Understanding of industry trends and best practices in delivery management systems.
