Key responsibilities

Manage development projects throughout the full lifecycle from design, planning to implementation, and ensure timely delivery and within budget
Act as Business Analyst and responsible for preparing business requirement specifications
Manage project risks, identify areas with potential issues with resolution, escalate when necessary
Participate in rule-base development by conducting rule analysis based on methodologies, processes, and the best practices across the industry
Liaise with internal teams & users and external technology partners for feedback collection for the on-going development of the underwriting system
Involve in pre-sales activities
Require periodic on-site work in client offices if necessary

Role requirements

At least 5 years’ experience in direct insurance or reinsurance, particularly with exposure to underwriting solution/system
Sound project management, business analysis and change management skills
Team player with ability to maintain good relationships with key stakeholders such as Underwriters and Data Scientist
Self-motivated independent decision-maker with strong problem-solving skill
Good interpersonal and communication skills with ability to translate and convey clear messages & demonstrations to users, and manage their expectations
Track record of any new technologies deployment is an advantage
Proficient in both written and spoken English and Chinese (Mandarin)
Travel occasionally if required
