AVP / Associate – Business Finance / Performance Management

Our client is a leading global bank with a strong presence within South-East Asia, who are looking for a candidate to join their Corporate Banking team in a Business Finance role

This role will be responsible for supporting the Corporate Banking Business Finance Head and Partner with various Product and Business Heads to drive and manage performance.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide timely & accurate financial information / MIS to enable strategic decision making.
  • Provide coordination and support during forecasting, budgeting, and monthly reporting cycles for respective products in co-operation with business heads and Regional / Country finance functions.
  • Analyze business performance (management and financial), review highlight risks and opportunities and drive actions to ensure committed financial outcome.
  • Support SG ALCO for capital and liquidity inputs and active balance sheet management for strategic planning.
  • Ensure robust financial processes in place to report revenue balance sheet for relevant business lines in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Ensure compliance with Group / IFRS accounting principles and practices, Financial Control policy, and other regulatory accounting guidelines.

Role requirements

  • Relevant Business Finance / Performance Management experience (preferably 7 years+) in financial services industry.
  • An understanding of international accounting standards requirements.
