Some of the key responsibilities will include

  • Works and engage with the Business, Support Units and external parties to discuss and formulate Non-Performing Loans (NPL) recovery plan and exit strategies for vulnerable accounts.
  • Work closely with relevant parties to set out detailed actions and execute loan exit/recovery techniques.
  • Work closely with the Business and Support Units to identify root cause of loan delinquency, early warning signals and recommend changes to improve the quality of the portfolio.
  • Ad hoc tasks as assigned by Management.

To be eligible for this role you will require

  • Minimum University degree from business studies, risk management, law or other relevant disciplines.
  • At least 5 years’ relevant experience in corporate banking, debt recovery & dealing with delinquent clients.
  • Knowledge and experience in syndicated loans mandatory.
  • Familiar with legal proceedings, ability to communicate with the relevant authorities, legal & other professionals.
  • Strong analytical & problem-solving skills, self-organized to handle various projects effectively.
  • Proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese), mandatory to liaise with Chinese speaking clients and head office colleagues.
  • HKIB ECF-CRM would be an advantage.
  • Proficient in using Word, Excel & PowerPoint.
