Valuation Controller (Hedge Fund)

Key responsibilities

• Responsible for daily review and oversight of P&L reports for the Management and other internal stakeholders.
• Serve as the primary contact for investigating and resolving valuation and P&L discrepancies.
• Validate and substantiate P&L figures, ensuring consistency with market standards.
• Perform intra-month and monthly valuation reconciliations across hedge funds, Fund Administrators, and counterparties.
• Assist in designing, automating, and improving valuation, P&L, and fair value adjustment processes.
• Review price verification processes and valuation controls to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Work with Technology and Risk teams to enhance valuation methodologies and tools.
• Drive process automation and efficiency improvements.
