APAC Finance Manager

Our client is a well-established multinational organisation with a strong regional footprint across Asia. The company operates within a dynamic and fast-paced environment, supporting large-scale projects and business operations across multiple markets. Due to ongoing business expansion and regional growth, they are looking to strengthen their finance team with the addition of a high-calibre finance professional.

Role Overview

This role will be part of the regional finance function, supporting financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and commercial analysis activities across APAC operations. The position offers strong regional exposure and close collaboration with senior stakeholders and operating companies across multiple countries.

The successful candidate will play a key role in driving financial visibility, supporting business performance analysis, improving reporting processes, and strengthening financial controls within a multinational environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Support annual budgeting, periodic forecasting, and long-term financial planning activities across regional operations
  • Analyse financial performance against budgets and forecasts, providing insights on variances, trends, and business drivers
  • Prepare financial models, scenario analysis, and business cases to support strategic and commercial decision-making
  • Coordinate monthly reporting timelines and reporting deliverables across multiple business units
  • Consolidate regional financial results and prepare management reporting packs with meaningful commentary and analysis
  • Partner closely with finance and operational stakeholders across the region to support business objectives and financial alignment
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to support commercial and operational performance improvement
  • Support monthly and quarterly financial closing activities and reporting processes
  • Drive process improvement initiatives to enhance reporting efficiency, controls, and data accuracy
  • Monitor cash flow, working capital, and regional cash reporting activities
  • Support investment analysis, pricing evaluations, and ad hoc financial projects when required

Role requirements

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline with professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, CIMA, or equivalent
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant finance experience with exposure to FP&A, regional reporting, or commercial finance functions
  • Prior experience in Big 4, multinational organisations or regional finance environments is highly preferred
  • Exposure within project-driven, engineering, consulting, infrastructure, or professional services industries would be advantageous
  • Strong analytical, financial modelling, and problem-solving capabilities
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with ability to work across regional teams
  • Able to manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced environment
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools; ERP or BI system exposure is an added advantage
