Key responsibilities

  • Strategic Analysis: Conduct in-depth market and competitive analysis to identify value opportunities and trends.
  • Pricing Strategy: Develop and implement pricing strategies based on analysis of costs, market conditions, and consumer behavior.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement. Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to sales and value management.
  • Market Insights: Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform strategic decisions.
  • Sales Strategy Development: Support the development of sales strategies by providing actionable insights based on data analysis.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor and report on the financial performance of products and brands, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate findings and strategies to senior management and other stakeholders effectively.

Role requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in business intelligence, data analysis, or a related field, preferably in the retail/ MCG industry.
  • Proficiency in business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and data management software (e.g., SQL, Excel) is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey insights to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience in project management and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
