Channel Sales Manager (Electrical Solutions)

Our client is an established MNC in the electrical and digital infrastructure solutions industry. They are currently seeking an experienced Channel Sales Manager to drive business growth. This role offers full ownership of the sales cycle — from lead generation to deal closure — and involves managing strategic relationships with independent sales representatives and channel partners. The ideal candidate will collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams including Sales, Product Management, Marketing, and Customer Care to deliver on commercial objectives and create long-term value for partners and customers.

Key responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new channel sales opportunities
  • Build brand loyalty and mindshare among channels and distribution partners
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client and pipeline information in CRM system
  • Effectively present business cases and strategic insights to internal stakeholders and executive leadership
  • Build and strengthen long-term relationships with key decision-makers across accounts
  • Act as liaison between customers and internal teams to ensure alignment on product and project deliverables
  • Promote new and existing product lines during client meetings, industry events, and trade shows
  • Support product launches and go-to-market initiatives in collaboration with the Product Management team
  • Conduct competitive analysis and develop strategies to gain market share
  • Demonstrate commitment to workplace safety and compliance with company health and safety standards

Role requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field
  • At least 5 years of experience in channel sales, preferably within the electrical, electronics, or building technology sectors
  • Proven success managing channels and delivering results through channel partnerships
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including stakeholder management
  • Proficiency in tools such as CRM, Power BI, and Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)
  • Demonstrated experience in value-based and consultative selling
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently in a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment
  • Experience working in the electrical, smart building, or infrastructure solutions industries
  • Experience launching and promoting new product lines into distribution channels
