Client Accountant – Fiduciary & Corporate Services

Our client, a leading International Fiduciary & Professional Services Firm, is seeking an experienced Client Accountant to join its growing Accounting Services team in Hong Kong. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the accounting and financial reporting requirements of a portfolio of offshore corporate entities, trusts, private wealth, and holding structures. You will work closely with clients, auditors, and internal stakeholders to ensure accurate financial reporting and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day accounting and financial record keeping for a portfolio of offshore entities and private client structures
  • Review bookkeeping entries and maintain the accuracy and integrity of client ledgers
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual management accounts
  • Prepare annual financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards
  • Manage the audit process and act as the primary point of contact for external auditors
  • Prepare and review audit support schedules, working papers, and supporting documentation
  • Support the accounting and reporting requirements of fiduciary and corporate administration clients across multiple jurisdictions
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, auditors, and internal stakeholders
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and enhance service delivery
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory, statutory, and internal requirements

Role requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
  • Professional qualification such as ACCA, ACA, CPA, or equivalent, completed or in progress
  • 4+ years’ relevant accounting experience, preferably within fiduciary services, trust and corporate services, private wealth, family office, or professional services environments
  • Experience managing offshore structures, trusts, SPVs, holding companies, or private client entities
  • Strong understanding of financial reporting and accounting principles
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese
