Fabric R&D Manager (Woven)

Key responsibilities

Leadership and Strategy:

• Lead the R&D team in the development of new woven textile products.
• Define and implement R&D strategies aligned with company goals.
• Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the team.

Product Development:

• Manage the end-to-end development process from concept to commercialization.
• Collaborate with design, production, and marketing teams to ensure product feasibility.
• Conduct market research to identify trends and customer needs in woven textiles.

Technical Expertise:

• Stay updated on advances in textile technology and weaving techniques.
• Oversee the formulation of specifications and testing protocols for new products.
• Address technical challenges and provide solutions during the development process.

Project Management:

• Develop project timelines, budgets, and resource allocations.
• Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to meet deadlines.
• Prepare and present project reports to senior management and stakeholders.

Quality Assurance:

• Ensure that all products meet industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Implement quality control processes throughout the R&D lifecycle.
• Analyze product performance and customer feedback for continuous improvement.
