Key responsibilities

  • Execute month-end and year-end closing activities, including preparing and reviewing journal entries, accruals, accounts payable, account reconciliations, bank transactions, and financial statements.
  • Maintain accurate financial records, documentation, and standard operating procedures while identifying and implementing process automation and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Coordinate with banks, auditors, tax agents, government authorities, and external service providers to support audits, tax filings, and statutory compliance.
  • Monitor cash flow and bank balances, prepare management reports, and ensure sufficient funding to support day-to-day operational requirements.

Role requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy with minimum 2 years of experience in an audit firm and/or in-house finance function.
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards, regulatory compliance, GST, corporate tax, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel for accounting and data analysis.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with strong attention to detail, integrity, and the ability to perform effectively under pressure.
  • Familiarity with Python, SQL, and financial markets is an added advantage.
