Finance Director

We are currently collaborating with a rapidly growing multinational company that is seeking to hire a Finance Director for their team. You will lead a team and be responsible for overseeing all financial activities, audit, tax including financial planning, risk management, treasury and analysis. You will ensure the company’s financial health and align the financial strategy with overall business goals.

Key responsibilities

  • Financial Strategy & Planning:
    • Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company’s growth and long-term objectives.
    • Collaborate with the executive team to align financial goals with corporate goals.
    • Lead financial forecasting, budgeting, and planning processes.

 

  • Financial Reporting, Audit & Tax Compliance:
    • Oversee the preparation and review of financial reports, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow statements.
    • Ensure compliance with all financial regulations, accounting standards, and tax laws.
    • Manage audits and internal controls to ensure accuracy and transparency.
    • Manage Tax risk & compliance

 

  • Cash Flow & Risk Management:
    • Optimize cash flow management, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and capital expenditures.
    • Identify and mitigate financial risks, both short-term and long-term.
    • Monitor and analyze financial trends and key performance indicators (KPIs).

 

  • Leadership & Team Management:
    • Lead, manage, and develop the finance team to ensure high performance and efficiency.
    • Foster a collaborative and accountable team culture.
    • Provide leadership on financial decision-making and reporting for other departments.

 

  • Technology & Process Improvement:
    • Leverage financial technology tools to streamline accounting processes and enhance decision-making.
    • Continually evaluate and improve internal financial systems, policies, and procedures to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.

Role requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CA or CPA preferred.
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in senior financial leadership positions, with at least 5 years as a FD or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of corporate finance, accounting, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Proven track record of strategic financial planning and analysis.
  • Experience in leading finance teams, implementing financial controls, and managing risk.
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards, tax regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and make data-driven decisions.
