Our client is a well- established and leading Global MNC in multiple geographies globally.  They are now looking to hire a Finance Director (Listed Co). This role will focus on reviewing reports for SGX board meetings, Financial Analysis and Business Partnering.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead monthly and quarterly variance analysis on financial performance, identify trends and key performance indicators
  • Manage consolidation and preparation of management reports for forecasting and budgeting.
  • Prepare, and review SGX announcement and board papers
  • Advise business teams on investment, asset management, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with tax advisors for effective deal structuring and tax due diligence for acquisitions and divestments.
  • Ensure financial operations align with group financial and reporting guidelines in coordination with country teams.
  • Develop and maintain financial models, scenario analysis for business forecast and support strategic decisions
  • Review internal control processes to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Identify and implement opportunities to streamline financial processes.
  • Work with external auditors to ensure efficient audit closing.
  • Handle additional duties as assigned.

Role requirements

  • Chartered Accountant (CA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), or tertiary qualification in Finance.
  • Minimum of 10-15 years of relevant experience in corporate finance, particularly with listed companies.
  • Proficiency in preparing and reviewing SGX announcements and board papers.
  • Experience in advising on acquisitions and divestments.
  • Knowledge of cross-border taxation, financial management, and risk management.
  • Strong business acumen, maturity, and strategic thinking capabilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
