Key responsibilities

  • Oversee fund accounting and investment operations, including NAV preparation, cash and position reconciliations, and maintaining accurate financial data.
  • Monitor and analyse portfolio performance, preparing monthly reports covering returns, risk metrics, benchmark comparisons, and existing holdings.
  • Drive operational efficiency and process improvements to strengthen investment reporting, data integrity, and risk management processes.
  • Prepare investment and management reports, including investor packs, performance and risk reports, and materials for investment committee and board reviews.
  • Manage regulatory, statutory and compliance requirements, including GST filings, KYC/AML reviews, annual statutory filings, and other regulatory reporting.

Role requirements

  • Degree holder in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in fund accounting, investment operations, investment reporting, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of financial markets, investment products, and investment operations, with familiarity across asset classes including private equity funds, equities, fixed income, and/ or alternative investments.
  • Strong analytical and attention-to-detail skills, with the ability to interpret complex investment data, assess performance and risk, and derive meaningful insights.
  • Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and time-management abilities, with a proven capacity to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and drive process improvements in a fast-paced environment.
