Financial Controller

Key responsibilities

• Manage all financial operations across Malaysia entities, ensuring strong financial governance and alignment with Group directives.
• Drive internal controls and compliance, including SOX, legal requirements, statutory audits, and Group policies, while acting as the local compliance representative.
• Provide strategic financial insights to support business planning, budgeting, forecasting, performance monitoring, and decision‑making with senior management.
• Oversee management reporting, ensuring accurate monthly results, variance analysis, and reliable financial data for local, regional, and Group stakeholders.
• Enhance financial systems and processes, collaborating with other departments to implement effective tools, improve productivity, and maintain high data quality.
• Manage cash flow, banking relationships, and treasury activities, including forecasting, risk monitoring, and fund transfers in coordination with Group Treasury.
• Oversee legal, credit, and tax‑related matters, including contract reviews, credit management, receivables collection, and monitoring regulatory/tax developments.
