Financial & Regulatory Reporting (Analyst/Associate)

We are currently partnering with a mid-sized European bank who having a growing presence in the APAC region.

They are looking for an Analyst/Associate equivalent -Financial & Regulatory Reporting to join their team.

This role will support the team in producing timely, accurate financial statements and reports to meet regulatory requirement. The role also involves staying updated on changes in statutory and tax requirements and assessing their impact on financial and regulatory reporting

Key responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate journal entries and allocations
  • Prepare, input, or approve accounting-related bookings
  • Perform month-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring timely and accurate profit/loss transfers
  • Prepare accurate and timely financial statements and disclosure notes
  • Analyse and compile supporting details for specific accounts (e.g. prepayments, provisions, sundries)
  • Assess the impact of and implement new accounting policies and products for requisite reporting
  • Reconcile and prepare annual schedules for tax submission
  • Operate accounting information systems efficiently
  • Prepare, review, and submit periodic reports, ensuring compliance with local and head office regulations
  • Prepare, review, and circulate regulatory compliance reports to internal stakeholders
  • Prepare periodic statistical reports and surveys for local authorities
  • Support internal and external audit activities

Role requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in financial and regulatory reporting
  • Degree in Accountancy, or professional qualification such as CPA or CA
