Our client is looking for a senior leadership, this role is tasked with overseeing the strategic planning, development, and management of the organization’s facilities and engineering functions. The position is responsible for ensuring that all physical assets, infrastructure, and services are efficiently operated, maintained, and enhanced to align with the company’s strategic goals and regulatory standards. The specific designation for this role will be determined based on the candidate’s relevant experience

Key responsibilities

  • Strategic Vision & Integration: Shape and execute the long-term strategy for facilities management and engineering, aligning it with overall business objectives in collaboration with executive leadership.
  • Operational Excellence: Oversee daily facilities operations, ensuring optimal functionality, safety, compliance, and continuous support for various business units across the Group level.
  • Project Leadership: Direct major construction, renovation, and technology projects, managing budgets, timelines, and stakeholder coordination for successful delivery.
  • Team & Financial Management: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing facilities and engineering team, while efficiently managing budgets, resources, and cost-saving opportunities.
  • Compliance, Innovation & Stakeholder Engagement: Ensure regulatory compliance, promote sustainability and innovation, manage vendor contracts, and foster effective communication with stakeholders.

Role requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/ Electrical, or a related engineering field.
  • At least 20 years in facilities management and engineering, wit 10 years in a senior leadership or supervisory position.
  • Proven leadership and team management capabilities, with strong project management, budget oversight, and cost analysis skills.
  • Deep understanding of building systems, maintenance practices, regulatory compliance, and utilities management, particularly in energy, water, waste, and district cooling systems.
  • Experience in sustainability projects and certifications in FSM, WSH ISO45K, BCA Green Mark Certification.
