Senior Human Resources Manager Business Partner – Asia region

Our client is a long-established listed company, the #1 leader in their operating space with global footprints and on a growth journey.   They are looking for a dynamic and strategic HR BP with regional or multi-markets exposure, to serve as a business partner working closely with the Regional MD and the leadership team, to drive strategic HR initiatives. Position is strategically based in Taiwan – one of their key markets in the Asia region.

Key responsibilities

  • Report to the Regional Head of HR in their APAC HQ, and lead a small team in the region
  • Act as a trusted HR advisor and partner to the executive leadership team, providing strategic advice and counsel to their business objectives while ensuring a smooth daily HR operation
  • Support organizational change initiatives, providing change management expertise and ensuring effective communication & employee engagement
  • Drive the talent management process, including workforce planning, recruitment, onboarding and succession planning
  • Provide guidance on C&B strategies ensuing market competitiveness and equity across the region
  • HR metrics and analytics to identify trend, insights and areas of improvement to drive effective HR solutions
  • Oversee day-to-day HR operations and support Learning & Development initiatives
  • Support on Ad-hoc projects

 

Role requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree ideally in HR Management, Statistics, Business or equivalent related discipline.
  • A minimum of 10 years relevant HR experience with an MNC, with solid track record in a business partnering role supporting senior stakeholders/ leadership team, providing strategic HR advice aligned with business objectives
  • Experience looking after multiple markets in the Asia Region is preferred
  • A strategic mindset yet able to be hands-on when necessary
  • Highly analytical with project management skills ideal
  • Effective interpersonal & analytical skills who is able to work seamlessly across countries and cultures
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English & Chinese Mandarin is a must
