Information Technology, Project Manager

Our Client is a brokerage firm with a footprint spanning across various countries in Asia and they are looking to hire a newly created headcount within their technology team.

This will be an end-to-end Project Manager role primarily focusing on looking after their trading and clearing fraternity and you will be looking after several IT projects. The role requires coordinating internal and external project teams, managing resources and ensuring the timely delivery of projects within prescribed scope, budget, and schedule.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and oversee project budgets, monitor expenditures, and ensure cost-efficiency.
  • Liaise with relevant departments to allocate requisite resources and track resource utilization throughout project lifecycle.
  • Spearhead cross-functional teams and end-users, delegating tasks, setting transparent expectations, and fostering team motivation.
  • Maintain meticulous project documentation, including project plans, progress reports, meeting minutes, and pertinent records.
  • Generate comprehensive reports on project status, key milestones, and performance metrics for management and stakeholders.

Role requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field (relevant certifications or equivalent experience may be considered
  • At least 8 years of Project Management experience with knowledge in settlements clearing systems.
  • Additional experience in Securities and knowledge of other products including Derivatives Trading and Derivatives Clearing would be good to have, but not essential.
  • Proficient understanding of technology trends, systems development life cycle (SDLC), and IT infrastructure.
