My client is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Regional Logistics Transformation Manager to drive significant improvements and efficiencies across APAC transportation and logistics operations. This role will be instrumental in leading strategic projects focused on process optimization, cost reduction, and complementing control tower methodologies. The ideal candidate will be a change agent, adept at leveraging data-driven insights to achieve operational excellence and contribute to our global leadership vision.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead Strategic Transformation Initiatives: Drive end-to-end transformation projects aimed at optimizing logistics processes and achieving substantial cost savings across APAC.
  • Complementing Control Tower Frameworks: Work hand- in- hand with advanced control tower technologies to enhance visibility, control, and efficiency within the logistics network.
  • Drive Continuous Improvement and Analytics: Utilize robust analytical tools and methodologies to identify improvement opportunities, implement solutions, and measure the impact of changes.
  • Standardize Operations Across Regions: Develop and implement standardized processes and best practices across diverse APAC markets, ensuring consistency and efficiency.
  • Manage Savings Projects and Cost Reduction: Identify, plan, and execute projects focused on achieving significant cost savings, demonstrating a strong understanding of financial impact.
  • Facilitate Change Management: Lead change management initiatives to ensure smooth adoption of new processes and technologies, driving operational excellence.
  • Present to Global Leadership: Prepare and deliver presentations to global leadership teams, providing insights and recommendations on regional logistics performance and strategic initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with various stakeholders, including regional teams, 3PL/4PL partners, and external consultants, to achieve project objectives.

Role requirements

  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics/ Supply Chain/ Business or relevant specialization
  • 8- 10 years in a Logistics, Transportation capacity in a manufacturing logistics environment, Logistics Service provider or Logistics Solutions Consultancy capacity
  • Proven Program Management Experience: Demonstrated success in leading complex logistics transformation projects, preferably at an APAC regional level.
  • Strong Analytical and Data-Driven Skills: Ability to analyze complex data sets, identify trends, and develop actionable insights to drive process improvements.
  • Expertise in Process Optimization and Cost Reduction: Proficiency in methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma, process mapping, and cost analysis.
  • SAP Proficiency: Strong understanding of SAP and its application in logistics and supply chain management.
  • Excellent Communication and Presentation Skills: Ability to effectively communicate complex information to diverse audiences, including senior leadership.
  • Change Management Expertise: Proven ability to lead and manage change initiatives in a dynamic and complex environment.
  • Regional Experience: In-depth understanding of APAC logistics markets and cultural nuances.
