Our client is a well-established International Bank who have operations across Retail, Wholesale and Asset Management, who have a strong presence in Singapore.  They are seeking an OTC Trade reporting Executive to join their team.

Key responsibilities

  • Review and improve reporting requirements and workflows: Challenge trade repository (TR) reporting requirements, assess current processes, and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and data quality.
  • Ensure systems and data readiness: Review upstream system changes, analyze data flows across systems, and ensure products and lifecycle events are accurately captured for regulatory reporting.
  • Maintain clear rules and quality controls: Ensure business rules and validations are well documented, perform quality checks, and support testing and UAT for new requirements and product launches.
  • Support regulatory change and new products: Assess new regulatory guidelines and product launches for TR applicability and reporting preparedness.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders: Work closely with Operations, Technology, Compliance, Front Office, Middle Office, and external parties (e.g., trade repositories and intermediaries) to align interpretations, standardize reporting, and resolve issues.

Role requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree, ideally in Finance/Accounting or Economics
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience with OTC derivatives, trade lifecycle events, and regulatory reporting (e.g., MAS, ASIC), including regulatory project delivery.
  • Hands-on experience with trade repositories (e.g., DTCC), MI/MIS reporting, XML reporting formats, and financial market infrastructure.
  • Strong skills in Alteryx, Power BI, advanced Excel, and requirements/workflow management tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities with experience using JIRA or similar tracking tools.
