Key responsibilities

  • Vendor & Project Management: Lead vendor development, project planning, scheduling, and execution in line with the regional strategy.
  • Training & Development: Design and implement vendor training programs to enhance capabilities and performance.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as a liaison between internal teams (Design, Sourcing, Production) and external partners to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Product Lifecycle Oversight: Manage one or more apparel categories from concept to final production, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.
  • Calendar & Timeline Management: Monitor development milestones, production schedules, and critical deadlines, proactively addressing delays.
  • Problem-Solving: Resolve challenges related to design, costing, quality, and delivery to ensure product readiness.
  • Leadership: Mentor, train, and evaluate direct reports, fostering career growth and team development.
  • Presentations & Reporting: Prepare and deliver product development updates to stakeholders.

Role requirements

  • Degree in Fashion Design or related field
  • 7+ years of experience in apparel development, technical design, or factory production (sportswear/performance apparel preferred).
  • Advanced understanding of material properties, trim selection, and category-specific end-use requirements.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of apparel construction, materials, costing, pattern-making, and manufacturing processes (stitching, embroidery, screen printing, etc.).
  • Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects across overlapping seasons with varying timelines.
  • Strategic Thinking: Proven ability to analyze complex situations, drive process improvements, and execute business objectives.
  • Communication: Exceptional interpersonal skills to influence stakeholders and align cross-functional teams.
  • Organizational Skills: High attention to detail with the ability to prioritize effectively.
  • Fluent in English.
