Quantitative Analyst – GMQR Prime Services

We are looking for highly skilled Prime Finance Engineers with a strong coding background to develop and implement technology solutions within the Financing & Prime Services domain. This role is less focused on financial modelling and more on building robust, high-performance code that supports trading strategies and financial operations.

 

This opportunity is open to candidates from both the sell-side and buy-side, but only if they have significant hands-on experience in strategy implementation and coding. A deep understanding of object-oriented programming, data structures and algorithmic problem-solving is essential to excel in this role.

Key responsibilities

Role requirements

  • Strong coding expertise – proficiency in Python (pandas / NumPy) or C# is required.
  • Object-oriented programming & data structures – hands-on experience applying these concepts in real-world applications.
  • Algorithmic problem-solving skills – ability to write efficient, optimized code.
  • Prime Finance / Financing business knowledge – preferred but not mandatory.
  • Financial industry experience – a plus but not required for Python developers.
  • Willingness to work in a Europe / US shift (12 PM or 12:30 PM start time).
