SAP Consultant- FICO (12 Months Contract, Leading Travel and Cargo Brand)

Our client, a leading Travel and Cargo Brand, is looking for an experienced SAP professional with strong functional exposure in SAP FICO and Finance functions. This is a contract opportunity with high probability for potential extension.

Working closely with a dynamic team, you will be playing a critical role in analyzing business requirements, identifying SAP system areas of improvement, and working on SAP system enhancement and its alignment to ensure the overall finance process and business optimization

Key responsibilities

7+ years of diverse and extensive exposure in SAP domain, including direct exposure in SAP implementation projects
Strong functional awareness of Finance business process, SAP Finance solutions, SAP FICO and its integration with non-SAP system
Drive, develop, review and analyze solution architecture design, benefits, risks to ensure cost and performance optimization
Gather requirements and documentations available from vendors, SMEs, systems, product managers and business analysts for a meaningful transformation
Colloborate with application, infrastructure and project teams for seamless implementation and continuous improvement
Assist on SDLC, application and infrastructure development, maintaining the overall deployment standards
Work on performance optimization for new and viable solutions
Collaborate with the Technology & Architecture team to consistently drive business and technology innovation
Keep abreast with the latest technology trends to augment the business enhancement

Role requirements

University degree in information system, computer science or similar disciplines
8+ yrs of strong functional exposure in SAP domain with a focus on SAP FICO
Good know how of finance functions, budgeting, financial models, accounting
Experience in working on large scale projects
Ability to analyze and translate business needs into simplified solution
Possess passion for new technologies, and understanding of application development methodology
Demonstrated ability to work on multiple project related priorities
A team player with proven track record of working with diverse teams and stakeholders
