Key responsibilities

  • Develop and execute category strategies aligned with business objectives, including assortment planning, pricing, promotions, and supplier partnerships.
  • Lead end-to-end supplier management: sourcing, contract negotiations, joint business planning, and performance reviews.
  • Analyze market trends, customer insights, and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities.
  • Optimize inventory, margins, and sell-through through data-driven decision-making.
  • Collaborate with marketing, e-commerce, and supply chain teams to launch integrated campaigns.
  • Mentor junior team members and foster cross-functional alignment.

Role requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • Proven buying/ category management experience in retail/FMCG; background in electronics/audio products is highly preferred.
  • Proven track record in P&L management, supplier negotiations, and category growth. Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build strong supplier relationships.
  • Fluent in English and Chinese (both written and spoken).
