Our client is a renowned alternative investment player with a strong global footprint. To accommodate with business expansion, they are currently looking to hire an additional Employment Counsel, VP/Director to be based in Hong Kong. Key responsibilities

Provide comprehensive legal advice and support on a wide range of employment-related matters
Review and draft various employment contracts including portfolio manager deal terms
Stay up-to-date with local and international employment laws, regulations, and industry trends
Assist in maintaining internal policies, procedures, and contracts in line with employment laws
Prepare employment templates, agreements, and maintain staff handbook & policy
Assist in investigations, arbitration, resolution of employment disputes and claims
Work with external counsels when necessary

Role requirements

Qualified solicitor of 5+ PQE, common law preferred

With at least 3+ years of relevant employment legal experience

Good knowledge of APAC employment laws and regulations, with an understanding of international employment law principles is advantageous

Prior in-house or financial services experience is highly preferred
