As a part of their growing Finance team and a newly created role, they’re looking for an experienced Accounting professional to join their dynamic Finance team in Hong Kong. The successful incumbent must come from Property Development / Real Estate / Hospitality sector.

Key responsibilities

Manage Financial Reporting for Leasing & Hospitality business unit
Oversee Accounting operations and upkeep the reporting process according to the deadlines and GAAP reporting standards
Provide management reporting to the Business Leaders presenting insights and recommendations helpful for the commercial decision making
Handle forecasting, budgeting and monthly reporting against the budget
Manage 2 direct reports (Accounting Managers)
Assist with other internal initiatives and transformation within the Finance Department

Role requirements

Degree in Accounting AND/OR a relevant qualification (HKICPA or equivalent)
12+ years of hands-on working experience in Financial Reporting roles
Experience in similar industries (e.g. Property Development, Leasing, Hotel industry)
Full proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandrin)
Excellent analytical skills, strong presentation skills, great interpersonal skills
