Our client is a leading financial institution who has a large footprint within Hong Kong with a steadily growing business and is looking for a seasoned financial reporting leader to lead its management reporting and business finance functions in Hong Kong.

Key responsibilities

Lead the preparation of management reports, budgeting, forecasting, and financial statements, ensuring KPIs are tracked to monitor business performance.
Represent finance to communicate key financial information and insights to senior executives, advising on budgeting, business portfolio and key initiatives.
Enrich and maintain complex financial models to evaluate scenarios and support strategic decision-making.
Collaborate across business and corporate functions to gather data and provide a holistic view of financial performance.
Conduct in-depth financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
Provide actionable recommendations that enhance profitability and optimize decision-making processes.

Role requirements

Hold a degree in Accounting/Finance (or related discipline).
With over 12 years of hands-on experience in financial management reporting, business finance, or management accounting within the banking or financial institutions.
With over 5 years of people management experience.
Demonstrate advanced technical and quantitative skills, including financial modeling and Excel proficiency.
Fluent in both Chinese (Cantonese) and English with excellent interpersonal, analytical, and presentation abilities, with a proven track record of advising senior stakeholders.
Maintain sound knowledge of industry rules, regulations, and market trends.
